I installed a non turbo Perkins 6-534 and 5 speed into my '69 Chevy C20 way back in 1978. Recently, I replaced the "old" Perkins with a newer Perkins 6-354 turbo that is mated to a Fuller 10 speed transmission into the Chevy. The Perkins will be converted to WVO. Replaced the CAV IP (weak quill) and installed a Boach IP (stouter quill) to handle the WVO. I never had a concern with the lower engine coolant temps until now. Would like to know what C* or F* thermostats (manufacturer an part number) that will get the engine coolant temps around the180F area? Any suggestions?
