Has any one had any experience with unrefined soya oil? Or any unrefined oil for that matter?

Do a search for oil press. There was a discussion about this, the oil must be "de-gummed."

You can start by reading this thread, FuelFarmer grows his own oil and makes bio with NO degumming required.

We have used crude soybean and canola oil. When we first got into burning farm pressed oil we ran a blend of oil and diesel. It is my opinion that pressed oil does not have a lot of "gum". We ran the oil through a centrifuge and used it in our tractors.
We now make biodiesel with crude oil. All I can say is it seems to work.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking at buying some unrefined soya oil. The price is good as the oil is actually a by-product for this company.
