nice looking unit/although if those little holes at the bottom are fuel suction holes you're asking for trouble with their size.

it's a heat exchanger fabricator. Aren't we all just a bunch of fabricators.

Its a:Tank Heater, Heated Fuel Pickup/Return, Baffle, and Fuel Level Sending Unit that drops into any A4 Volkswagen (replaces the stock fuel pickup and sender) to convert the main tank without cutting or modifying the tank permanently. Also note on these vehicles the stock tank is molded and is above the axle. Any access to it not utilizing the sending unit hatch requires the removal of the rear axle etc...

PS
Heres our diesel tank for the A4 Jettas that goes with this unit to provide a zero intrusion system.

Nicely executed. Zero instrusion, how you put it, is the way to go. My next system will be.

Thanks for all the complements, this is the 3rd generation, 2 years in the making and finally we'll be making them available to the general public in the next few weeks. Initially they will only be available with a complete kit order but in the future they will be sold diesel tank and drop-in unit as an upgrade for any already installed system.

Kind of makes me wish I had a VW. That is a nicely integrated system. Any word on the reliability of the newer VWs? Any better than the ones from around 5 years ago?

We have similar units designed for other vehicles like the liberty and excursion. These are for 99.5-05 VWs so reliability of the vehicles these will work with falls into the category in question. I'm skeptical of the 05.5-06 PD motor just because it was short lived but rumor is the 08 common rail will be really nice...

Maybe it's just the photo's, but it looks like it sticks out a fair way? Any problems with the seats fitting?

It does stick out a bit, but not too bad and there is no issue with the seat.
