I took my 100 gallon SS tank out of my bus while out in Sturgis and there was a lot of white gunk in the bottom from which I suck my oil from. Since I am basically running an "on the fly" cleaning system I have no time to really settle my veg oil. So now I am going to suck my oil from a few inches up from the bottom and centrifuge into another tank. I know Sunwizzard doesn't think that is a good method but I think it is the best way for me in my situation. To further help with dewatering I'm thinking of having the oil slide down a heated tube from the CF to my finish or clean tank on an angle that will keep the oil flowing nicely but still be a thin enough layer to dewater into the atmousphere with a section cut out of it the entire length with a screen covering that cut out to prevent contaminates from getting in the oil.
I'm also moving my pump to the lowest point I can to help it work better and to free up some space in my living quarters of my bus. This whole project has been fun and very interesting. I've had great luck running oil and finding it. I've actually had to turn down oil cause I had no way of hauling it or storing it.

Some is but it causes issues with the current setup I'm heating my oil via FPHE the new setup will have a coil in the tank. so PHO won't be as bad a problem as the oil will be hot before I even turn on the pump. Less strain on stuff.

stickman, check this out. You have to scroll down the page.It is an all in one, and the cheapest I've seen. Easier to clean than most.

Good luck!
