ok here is the start of it. i will add more info and pics as i get this done this weekend. this is for a friend that only uses 20 to 25 gallons of veggie a week. It can be made to fit any size bucket or drum, big or small. you can add pumps to this also. all parts were bought at Lowe's lumber company while i was on the road. parts list $12.94 2- 5 gallon buckets $2.53 2FT. 2" PVC pipe $6.97 PVC Drain $3.00 Caulk $3.96 2-Lids $6.00 1inch water heater adapter $1.00 2-3/4x4" black steel pipe $40.00 2 Filter housings $1.00 screen $4.00 salt $1.00 1"to 3/4" adapter for filter housing OPT 110volt heating pad $20.00 3/4"x10" hose $8.00 I cut a hole in the bottom of a 5 gallon plastic bucket and also in the lid to caulk and seal the 2" drain. cut a hole in the side of the bottom bucket for the water heater adapter for the filters or drip bag. the 2"pvc pipe is cut 1" short of hitting the bottom bucket filled with salt. fill the bottom bucket with salt. place the top bucket on top and snap the lid tight. you can use foam from an old cushion or screen or anything washable and reusable on the bottom of the top bucket. then fill the top bucket with wood chips. corn cobs, or anything burnable. cut the top lid to install screen. more info here http://www.greasecar.com/forum...cfm?frmtopicID=17622 have a good read Omar www.omarsales.com |
