Anyone has experience with veg oil mixed with a significant amount of Bacon grease? I did a hot pan test with the "dirty" oil. That is I did not settle or filter this oil before the test. It bubbled/splattered immediately and everywhere in the pan. However, within about 3-5 seconds, all bubbling/splattering completely stopped. Do you think this is caused by the bacon greese? Or do you think it is a water issue and bacon grease has nothing to do with it?
