vw 40mpg ...mb 23 mpg ... that is the question...
I have run both vw and mb ... parts and labor are about the same .... however I run a lot of used parts ... I am driving a 79 rabbit now 40mpg ... anyway good luck Omar www.omarsales.com |

In less you get something really old (nice Caddy on e-bay this week FWD 4.3) or something that is converted to diesel. Range rover conversion go from $10k-$20Kplus for a converted vehicle. I saw a GEO metro conversion for $7000 yikes!
The VW is your only choice in America. If you like basic reliable transportation get a jetta. Or learn to collect and filter a lot faster. And drive a truck. I just sold an Isuzu P'up diesel for $4700 because is was in good shape and small. The mileage difference is huge. Between a Jetta and a truck. But you still have to filter.
