As you can see on the valve failure discussion in this forum a lot of people are in this for $$$$$ reasons. The true pioneers pay the cost while others tag along and try to make a quick buck.

......and if you look at the provided image, you will notice version 3.0 of my 100% stainless HIH assembly. as you will note, I have significantly reduced the overall diameter and have located an insulation sleeve that not only insulates, but provides 500F CONTINUOS heat protection. It is impervious to oil, water and salt making it an ideal hose insulator. Also note I have now got a AN-8 fuel fitting to help reduce the number of often leaky NPT fittings.
Also the prebuilt connections elimate bothersome compression fittings with ther bulky adaptors.
This hose will be partnered with a all-new heated tank fuel drive especially made for this hose.
All that is left now is to secure some stainless of higher PSI rating so as to exceed PSI ratings
of aluminum. Also want to "double up the thickness of the insulation by custom stitching to make the R value over R4. This research has cost a few hundred dollars, all made possbile by the few dollars made from online sales of VO components. Since this flexible hose is unable to be custom
cut onsite, the installer must predetermine the hose path and total length before ordering. This
hose is a high end variety more suited for commercial applications where extra expense still has a quick payback. Turnaround time for production should be no more than 10 days.

...Excuse me, Did I just hear someone talk about a "Hack" who is just out to make a few bucks or somethin like that? Gee I wonder who they are talking about?? But anyway, more information

I didn't see more info about the hose at your site... is there more?

is the interior; tubing, hose, or 100% stainless?

Though your argument is very clever, I don't think it will lead to the results you desire. gandhi

Intererior is stainless as well. 3/8" ID inner hose, 3/4" ID outer hose. My message said to read more about my company, not the hose in particular. I would of liked to have announced it there at a later time since this project is not 100% complete and tested.....

The one critical test I have to conduct is to see how much bending this hose can take before
the integrity is compromised. No doubt it would happen, just need to know if the abuse it can take before breakage is acceptable. This may all end up in the trash before its all over.

you may want to quit referring to it as a hose if it is infact stainless tubing.

might be a matter of symantics???? but generally hose is the flobby stuff and tubing is ridgid but can be formed and hold a shape.

Yes you are technically correct.
But in the industry a variant of this is known as "braided hose", and since its comparable product in the SVO industry is called Hose in Hose, there was no point in adding confusion.
