I'm installing a VO Controller and looking at page 20 of my manual, v2.3(rv3) and trying to connect the injection line heaters & electric heater(vegtherm) relays.

The manual shows the wire in the relay's harness for terminal 85 as being black and terminal 86 as a white wire. Problem is they are reversed when the relay & wire harness are connected - 85 is white/ 86 black.

#85 goes to the controller & #86 is positive from the battery (as is #87)

My question is is this schematic correct and should I disregard the colors and just follow the numbers?
