Im doing 55mpg on a 50/50 d-diesel/new SVO mix in an estate car - can I say that my fuel is burning pretty efficiently as I didn't manage 55mpg on pure diesel? But surely everyone can smell me when I pull up at the lights - the smell of burnt vegetable oil - it just wafts around everywhere and blows in through the drivers window whenever it gets the chance- - worrying to think that dangerous diesel pollutants must be wafting around just the same but going unnoticed. What does yours smell like?

(no visible smoke though)

Smells like a hot Wok. Kept waiting for that french fry smell though. That smell sure does get around at the stop lights though doesn't it.

Both my MB 300tdt and my VW Rabbit smell like the "blackening seasonings" that my cousin uses on his prime rib special. No matter how much I filter the aroma of these seasonings still comes through.( kinda like a bar-b-Q grill aroma) :~)
