Monday next week myself and another guy are going to Davco to talk with one of there guys in charge of product developement and R&D to talk to him about the Davco fuel filter as it relates to straight WVO. I do not have one, they guy I am going with is going to pick his up on monday.

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any specific questions I need to be asking as it relates to this heated filter and if there is anything you want me to bring up with them that would improve upon its design as it relates to straight WVO.

just post your questions, I will print them out before I go and then put official replies in on tuesday after work.

thx
Ryan

I can tell you why i went with a modified racor 1000 model -

cheap filter elements -15$
filter can be changed without making huge mess
monster size element will be very hard to plug
heater is powerful - 300watts
heater is modifed to go up to 160 degrees
clear bowl I can see water or other junk build up and drain it if need be.

most of these are pretty good WVO advantages
disadvantage - costs 400$
