Well my thing is hows rusty is it cab and bed wise. Bed can always be taken off and make your own, cab a bit more difficult. Ease of repairs, compared to newer vehicles with more systems that can go wrong. I don't see anything wrong with adding a vegoil tank, it is a pickup meant to haul loads. If you made your own bed you might be able to put extra tank under it and still have plenty of space. This all depends on what shape the chassis is in, if its too rusty the truck may not be worth it, in that case take engine and tranny out and put it in newer vehicle. It all depends on your own standards and what your willing to do or put up with. If its only used occasionally then just put tank in bed with manual valves so you start on bio get it warmed up get out change to vegoil, that would be simplest, as long as you have heat exchanger before injection pump, should run fine, I would add an extra filter but since you have been running bio already the system should be well cleaned out. On second thought put extra filter coming off vegoil tank just in case.
