Changed a little bit now.
I no longer have the blue drum on the crates which was a holding tank to pump the oil into the IBC which is rigged like an upflow tank.

I have now plumbed the Upflow tank into another Couple of IBC's about 30Ft away which I use to presettle the oil so only clear oil goes to the main upflow tank. This then goes into the drying/ filtering processor which is the 200L drum with the silver insulation.

After recirculating there for around 90 min, the oil is then pumped through a water 1Um water filter and into 25L plastic drums ready for use.

This is my "hybrid" system which combines John Galt's cold upflow and SunWizard's centrifuge designs. Basically I use the cold upflow system to pre-settle and pre-filter the oil before it goes into the centrifuge barrel. This cuts the amount of time time the centrifuge needs to run dramatically since the oil is nearly water free and filtered to the 50-60 micron level before it ever sees the centrifuge. The centrifuge merely serves to "polish" the oil. Also, as a safety measure I've added a Goldenrod on the output so that when I pump fuel into the truck any dust, bugs, or other junk that may have gotten into the CF barrel between processing and filling it never makes it into my tank.
