I have a few questions.
Is there any real difference between the dieselcraft or the Spin Clean centrifuges? Is it just the same basic machine with a different supplier?
Is there a difference in the jet stream of the output. Some have talked about splashing.
Does the Spin Craft come with the same hardware as the dieselcraft?

The Spin Craft interests me because it is a Canadian manufacturer, and I live in Canada. If I have a problem with a US machine, I'm kind of stuck.

Thanks,

Gérald

IDP is the company I was looking at as a supplier. Their price is lower than Dieselcraft, but seems to have less hardware. In the end the price is about the same. I was still wondering about the quality, etc of the unit compared to the Desielcraft that we hear so much about.

Thanks,

Gérald

All Dieselcraft internal steel parts are nickel plated to prevent corrosion from veg oil.

All parts are inspected, powder coated, assembled and tested in the USA.

Centrifuges carry a 24 month replacement warranty.

Do not know if this is the case with others.

Thank you for your help. I might end up getting the DC, if for no other reason than it is a known entity, whereas the Spin Clean is lesser known.

I had hoped for more help with the difference between the two. Advantages, disadvantages, etc.

Thanks again,

Gérald

Advantage ONE. Mr Dieselcraft knows we are a viable customer and he comes on here to add his .02 and keeps us in mind when he develops products! Ain't no one else doing that. Even if I buy used it will be DC

I sure wish I could sell mine with extra's for $60 less than I paid for. Is that so much to ask? See classified section.

What is the latest going price for these things?

Didn't we have some special forum member price worked out with DC?

I assume if I buy directly from head office in order to get our forum discount, I'd still get the normal USA warrante coverage, even though I'm in Canada right?

hi ya guys, I don't understand one thing. why are you heating the oil before filtering. I don't. I let it rest for 3 to 4 weeks then filter down to 1 micron at room temp is best cause the mess does not mix. the process is a lot slower but the quality is top.

this dieselcraft looks fairly impressive.

Welcome to the forums. If you read the summary on page 1 of this thread it will help. This is a centrifuge thread. You need heat for the particles and water to separate out quickly. We aren't going to run the CF for 4 weeks, we run for around 4 hours. My CF won't spin if the VO is <100F.

Since you are fairly impressed you can buy mine. With extra for less than the cost of a new one. I am including anything you want on my waterheater set up except the pump for $300.

I use some right away and about half I store it. Sometimes there is a little fat setttled on the bottom but it burns fine in my truck.

Sun,
I have my barrell tilted and my pickup in the low spot and my output on the opposite side, but I am getting sediment on the other areas of the bottom. Do you stir or somehow displace this sediment so it gets pulled into the CF?

Biotroll,

I live in Sweden, and have used the CF for months and also helped a few with new CF here in Sweden.
I cooperate with he european importer of the CF, so if you r interested in one, it can be arranged.
Low postal cost of course :-)

And using CF instead of filter...if you have tried it, you won't go back to filters again.
No mess, easy job, quick result.

just pm me.
