I have a '85 300D. I plan to install a fphe and perhaps would like to loop my return line and have some questions. 1. Would it even be necessary to use a loop return since I will be using a fphe? 2. Having read through many posts about using a loop, is there a diagram or does someone have a basic explanation as to how to install it? Oh I am in Birmingham Alabama. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

IMHO an FPHE will be more than sufficient.
Get an infa-red led laser thermometer and check after installing the fphe.
If >160*F/70*C, no loop needed.
