I cover my thumb with a latex glove.

Hmmm my experience with latex is that Biodiesel disolves it! Get the synthetic version. |

I have read on some of Girl Mark's posts that no glove keeps out methanol. But maybe it is safe on a practical?
I don't know, I don't have experience with these chemicals so I ask. ==>Lancer--- |

It is no type of respirator keeps out methanol fumes. ALWAYS wear chemical gloves when working with Methanol especailly methoxide. |

Hello Lancer! I recommend to you to use the lid's bottle,it seems to me to be safer than the finger... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "VW Gol 1.6 TD" (Golf), Turbo & intercooler.. Loving B100! |

the thicker disposable latex gloves will slow down the methanol and will last long enough under biodiesel to decant the biodiesel. |

Hmmm. I think the amount of leftover methnol would be negligible, especialy when mixed with water (wash water). However, I will get some gloves to better protect myself, especialy after reading some recent posts on methonol exposure. It hasn't hurt me an29&^^%(&*)YHJK!!!!! (Just kiding)

Green Guy,
Lid's bottle? Perhaps that is a typo meaning the bottom of the lid? (IE screwing it back on while the fluid's poor out?) You're winking too, so I must be missing something. What is needed is a valve that screws onto the top.... Cheers, ==>Lancer--- ==>Lancer--- |

How about one of those pull/open/push/close valves found on bottled water?

Hi Lancer! May be that I wasn't clear.. I must to say that speak (write) English is difficult to me .. I Speak Spanish, you know... Well,,, I tried to say "La tapa de la botella" in spanish .. The idea is to put the bottle upside down and to use the stopper (screw -- unscrew) as a valvle.. I hope that this has been more explanatorily... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "VW Gol 1.6 TD" (Golf), Turbo & intercooler.. Loving B100! |
